I had flown out to look at the site in May 2004 where I was met at the airport by the client, Juan Carlos Rubio, and taken to lunch with him, his father, the manager of the adjacent farm also owed by Juan Carlos and his father, and the local mayor. We then visited the site and together decided on which five locations would be best suited to having hides. Juan Carlos then, very kindly, took me to my hotel in Madrid and waited for me to shower and change before treating me to a memorable meal at a restaurant in the city centre. I flew home the next day and prepared my tender, which, after a bit of tweaking was accepted.
