We have also made classrooms, wardens chalets and reception buildings and we supply and erect boardwalks, ramps, steps and screens, in fact everything you could possibly require in this field. And, being building contractors as well, we have the experience to advise on and/or construct special foundations for hides, where necessary, form paths and ramps with hardcore, in fact anything on the construction side.
Our delivery and erection service is now very popular, with 90% of our customers opting for it. It means that you don't have the worry and trouble of organising and supervising teams of volunteers to do the work. All you have to do is meet us on site at 8:30am (wherever you are in the country) and show us where to put the hide.
You can then relax, knowing that in all probability, the same evening, your hide will be ready to use. For more details or a competitive quote contact us. We also are able to offer this service anywhere in the world.
We also offer a plan drawing service for customers who are seeking planning permission and are willing to visit sites anywhere in Europe to discuss your requirements. Please contact us if you would like us to visit you.

Timber generally
On a standard hide all timber is "Protonised" except the 100mm x 175mm legs, which are "Tanalised". The cladding is then given a coat of "Sovereign" dark brown preservative before leaving our workshop, (other colours include light-brown, green, and black). Cladding can be "Tanalised" if required.
The timber we use is Scandinavian red-wood and white-wood which when treated is ideal for the job. It also comes from a sustainable source. Guaranteed. "Tanalised" and "Protomised" are high specification pressure preservative wood treatments by Hickson Timber Products of Castleford, West Yorkshire, and come with a guarantee on request.
Fire Retardant
Timber can be treated with 'Non-Com Exterior' fire retardant from Arch Chemicals of Castleford. It is an expensive but effective way or reducing the risk of arson.
